Broad Jump

The Broad Jump measures lower body power and explosion. It is measured by determining the distance traveled from the starting point of a jump to the point of contact of the prospects heels.

Prospects stand still at the take off point while using their arms & knee bend to create an explosive forward drive without any momentum.

This measurement is important for running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and defensive backs. With an added emphasis to wide receivers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and defensive backs.
