Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (1st) 43DE Jadeveon Clowney South Carolina Jr 6'5 1/4" 266 lbs. 4.53

Analysis: TRADE: The Falcons trade up to the #1 pick in exchange for the #6 pick, their 2nd round selection (#37), their 4th Round selection (#103) and a 2015 first round selection. Atlanta has been flirting with this idea for almost a month and this is the position where they struggled most last year. They got Clowney. 'Nuff said.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (2nd) OT Greg Robinson Auburn rSo 6'5" 332 lbs. 4.92

Analysis: No surprise here. Robinson has tons of upside and is a premium pick for a Rams' front office trying to protect their injury-prone QB Sam Bradford, who they also invested a very high pick in a few years back.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (3rd) 34OLB Khalil Mack Buffalo rSr 6'2 5/8" 251 lbs. 4.55

Analysis: Saying the Jaguars defense wasn't very good in 2013 would almost receive gratitude from Jags fans. But, um, there's this guy in the draft, His name was like, Smack, or something...? Oh Yeah, Khalil Smack, as in smack this Defense into Shape!
Nah, his name's Khalil Mack, but anyway, it sends a good message. The OLB also set FBS records with 75 tackles for loss and 28 forced fumbles in his 4 years. Pass him up? Hell no.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (4th) QB Johnny Manziel Texas A&M rSo 5'11 3/4" 207 lbs. 4.68

Analysis: The Browns desperately need a quarterback that they can franchise and build around for the next decade, and I don't see a more attractive pick than Johnny Manziel. The Browns have been linked with him throughout the whole offseason, and although the recent most popular pick here has been Sammy Watkins, there is no guarantee Derek Carr or another top quarterback will be left on the board by the time the 26th pick rolls around. Yes, they need an impact receiver, but this is an extremely deep draft. Go Manziel here..

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (5th) WR Sammy Watkins Clemson Jr 6'0 3/4" 211 lbs. 4.43

Analysis: Watkins just got by the Browns, to the pleasing of the Raiders. Many will say to draft a QB, and although he isn't elite, Matt Schaub is a talented thrower with a strong arm, who is now a Raider. SO, the question isn't him as much as it is who he is throwing the rock to. James Jones and Denarius Moore are his top targets. Needs improvement. Sammy Watkins is the explosive talent that could finally give the Raiders offense a little bit of hope.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (6th) QB Blake Bortles Central Florida rJr 6'5" 232 lbs. 4.93

Analysis: Yes, I know Clowney is a once in a generation talent, similar to Andrew Luck in that respect, but at what point does need rank over talent. The Texans need a QB more than anything in the draft, and while they could go with Blake Bortles at 1, they would be reaching. At pick 6, all the Bortles-mezmorized teams haven't picked yet, and the Texans have the perfect opportunity to go get their #1 prospect.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (7th) WR Mike Evans Texas A&M rSo 6'4 3/4" 231 lbs. 4.46

Analysis: The Bucs signed former Chicago Bears backup Josh McCown during free agency, and while he isn't Jay Cutler, he is a solid young QB who performed way beyond his years in a limited role last year. Behind him, you also have a very solid backup in Case Keenum, so I believe Tampa is alright on the QB front as much as fans want Johnny Manziel coming to the Bay area. The real problem on offense for these Buccaneers is their receiving core. After premier receiver Vincent Jackson, the core is very thin. But just imagine Mike Evans lining up across from Vincent Jackson. And with Doug Martin in the backfield, Tampa Bay could own a very talented offense next year.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (8th) QB Teddy Bridgewater Louisville Jr 6'2 1/8" 214 lbs. 4.79

Analysis: Although Matt Cassel was pretty decent in the backup role, Josh Freeman or Christian Ponder both were disappointing last year. The Vikings are in a similar situation to the Patriots. Both teams are trying to make the most of their star's numbered years; for the Vikings, it's AP, and for the Pats its TB. So with that being said, I think it is time to stop the QB bleeding and draft the most NFL-ready QB to make the most of Adrian Peterson's twenties, and also catch up in an NFC North division that has lots of firepower (Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Jay Cutler) at the signal caller position. So no, Teddy Bridgewater will not fall to the second round.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (9th) TE Eric Ebron North Carolina Jr 6'4 3/8" 250 lbs. 4.60

Analysis: This is the first change from 1.0, as Buffalo reaches a little bit and selects the top TE prospect in the draft with Eric Ebron. EJ Manuel needs more weaponry on offense, as even though they got Mike Williams, they lost Scott Chandler, a vital part of their offense. Ebron will bring a #1 target for Manuel, a sense of athleticism to practice, and a dangerous look to the Bills offense.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (10th) FS Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix Alabama Jr 6'1 3/8" 208 lbs. 4.58

Analysis: With HaHa Clinton-Dix still available for the Motor City, it would take a full office full of Clowns to pass him up. Or a real ClowNEY. Either way, based on what the Lions need, there is no better option to upgrade your secondary with an immediate impact. Laugh all you want, rest of the NFC North, but HaHa will get it done.
