Show/Hide All Player Comments Rd (Ovr) Team Pos Name College Cls Height Weight 40
Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (11th) OT Cameron Erving Florida St. rSr 6'5 1/8" 304 lbs. 5.16

Analysis: The Vikings offensive line struggled a lot in 2014, many blame on left tackle Matt Kalil but the guard position was even worse. Charles Johnson was terrible and Joe Berger is a free agent so the position must be addressed. They take Erving who played all over the Seminoles offensive line so he can play any position but most likely he'll be put in the guard spot.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (12th) WR Kevin White West Virginia Sr 6'2 7/8" 209 lbs. 4.49

Analysis: Josh Gordon could be suspended again for the rest of the season next year and that leaves Cleveland with zero receivers at all. They draft White to give whoever is playing QB for the Browns next year a reliable target.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (13th) 43DE Vic Beasley Clemson rSr 6'2 1/8" 235 lbs. 4.58

Analysis: The Saints were able to get pressure from Cameron Jordan and Junior Galette and nobody else. They draft Beasley to play as a 3-4 OLB.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (14th) OT La'el Collins LSU Sr 6'4 1/2" 315 lbs. 5.12

Analysis: Miami's offensive line improved last year after a horrible 2013. Mike Pouncey will get another shot at being a guard but the other spot needs to be addressed so they draft Collins who would kick inside to guard.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (15th) WR DeVante Parker Louisville Sr 6'2 5/8" 209 lbs. 4.48

Analysis: Michael Crabtree is a free agent and Anquan Boldin is coming towards the end of his career. Even if they sign Torrey Smith the Niners need to add more depth to the receiving corps so they draft Parker.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (16th) OT T.J. Clemmings Pittsburgh rSr 6'5 1/8" 305 lbs. 5.14

Analysis: With no QBs on the board the Texans go and with Clemmings. Even with resigning Derek Newton the Texans line needs some youth and talent. They could move Duane Brown over to guard and Clemmings to left tackle or move Clemmings to guard. Either way the line will be better with Clemmings added to the mix.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (17th) NT Danny Shelton Washington Sr 6'1 5/8" 339 lbs. 5.16

Analysis: San Diego's run defense was terrible so they go and grab Shelton who will be impossible to move one on one leaving room for linebackers to clean up. A great steal for San Diego.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (18th) OT Ereck Flowers Miami (FL) Jr 6'5 1/8" 315 lbs. 5.26

Analysis: Eric Fisher has been a bust so far and hasn't done well at either tackle spot. They go and draft Flowers to put on Alex Smith's blindside and hope Fisher can hold down the right tackle spot.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (19th) 43DE Shane Ray Missouri rJr 6'2 3/4" 245 lbs. 4.83

Analysis: Paul Kruger was Cleveland's only real pass rush threat last season. They take Ray here who fell due to not being able to peform at his pro day. He'll have to learn the 3-4 OLB spot and may only be a guy to bring in as a pass rusher on passing downs.

Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (20th) 43DE Alvin Dupree Kentucky rSr 6'3 1/8" 252 lbs. 4.79

Analysis: The Eagles need some edge rushers and Dupree is the best available as Chip Kelly will think he can play as a 3-4 OLB. Dupree is a sack machine and a bit of a freak and would fit in to Kelly's system.
