Show/Hide All Player Comments Round (Overall) Pos Name College Cls Height Weight 40
Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (14th) WLB Su'a Cravens USC Jr 6'1 1/8" 225 lbs. 4.58

Analysis: I don't particularly care for the top portion of this draft. Reggie can afford to move down MANY spots and nab this guy..

With C-Wood's retirement, The Raiders need an impact player in the back end of that defense.. Safety that's big enough to play against these new age tight ends.. Can line up as linebacker if needed... Adequate in coverage, more than adequate against the run..

Best case scenario, he's Polamalu...
Worst case scenario, he's Darnell Bing...

Show/Hide Player Comments 2nd (13th) WR Braxton Miller Ohio St. rSr 6'1 3/8" 215 lbs. 4.42

Analysis: Tremendous athlete... Still fairly raw as a receiver, but showed flashes of playmaking ability once the ball is in his hands... Could potentially be a dangerous slot receiver with Amari and Crabtree on the outside.. KR is also an option...

Show/Hide Player Comments 3rd (12th) SS Jeremy Cash Duke rSr 6'0 5/8" 208 lbs. 4.56

Analysis: Originally, I picked Deon Bush from The U in the 5th.
However, I took a look at Jeremy Cash, and OMG!! The violence!!

Led ALL DBs in Tackles For Loss...
3 forced fumbles, 101 total tackles..

Will be great assistance in the run game... This kid is a violent hitter. Has some work to do on the coverage end, but that's what Rod Woodson is here for..

Show/Hide Player Comments 4th (16th) MLB Terrance Smith Florida St. rSr 6'3 1/4" 232 lbs. 4.64

Analysis: A player very familiar with Sal Sunseri..
Has the versatility to play inside and outside, so worse case scenario, he will provide valuable depth. Best case scenario, he quietly becomes a productive starter similar to former teammate Telvin Smith. Him and Telvin are similar players.

Show/Hide Player Comments 5th (4th) OC Nick Martin Notre Dame rSr 6'4 1/8" 295 lbs. 5.26

Analysis: His big brother is a pretty good lineman in the NFL so far...

As for Nick, he's a guy that brings versatility.. Gives up depth at the guard position and can kick in and play center just in case Rodney Hudson misses any games (God forbid). Had a season ending knee injury couple years ago that he's still getting over.

Show/Hide Player Comments 5th (15th) CB Rashard Robinson LSU Jr 6'1 5/8" 178 lbs. 4.49

Analysis: Has off field issues. But has on field talent... With Sean Smith, Amerson and Carrie at the top of the depth chart, Rashard won't have to be rushed out there. Unless his play is too good to leave him on the bench.
Good measurements... speed is there.. Could use a little more bulk..

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th (19th) OT Brandon Shell South Carolina rSr 6'5 1/4" 327 lbs. 5.19

Analysis: I was looking for Ian Seau (Junior Seau's nephew), but I stumbled on another nephew...

Massive just like Art.... Gives us young depth at the tackle. He looks like he could play guard..

Show/Hide Player Comments 7th (13th) HB Dwayne Washington Washington rJr 6'1 1/8" 221 lbs. 4.53

Analysis: 6'2, 220 pound Former Wide receiver turned Half Back from Washington...

From what I read of him, his big issue is holding on to the ball.. Fumbling is his Achilles heel and you can't afford that in the NFL.

From what I saw of him, he's indeed an athlete.. very fast.. Can create mismatch problems in the pass game.. He is a project that can turn into a weapon. If not, they can move him back to receiver where he can do some damage.
