Show/Hide All Player Comments Round (Overall) Pos Name College Cls Height Weight 40
Show/Hide Player Comments 2nd 34OLB Joshua Perry Ohio St. Sr 6'3 5/8" 254 lbs. 4.67

Analysis: If Joshua is available, I like him, to add depth to the Patriots LB group. Mayo has a huge cap-hit 11.5 mil. so he is either gone or takes a big salary cut. LB Freeny played OK but now is time to get a guy like Perry.

Show/Hide Player Comments 3rd CB Sean Davis Maryland Sr 6'1 1/4" 200 lbs. 4.53

Analysis: Davis is the best player no-one is talking about. Needs some work as a CB, but has gotten better every year in College. Plays a lot at S for Maryland, SUPER good tackler, and special teams guy.

Show/Hide Player Comments 3rd OT Tyler Marz Wisconsin rSr 6'6 3/4" 318 lbs. 5.34

Analysis: A good OT playing mostly left tackle, may be better suited as a right OT. Great size , good foot work, senior with a sound body of experience. Academic All-Big Ten 2012, 13, 14, intelligent player, strong prospect.
This pick is a compensatory pick for the loss of CB Revis.

Show/Hide Player Comments 4th UT Vernon Butler Louisiana Tech Sr 6'3 1/4" 309 lbs. 5.06

Analysis: Another super looking prospect who many not last this long on the draft board.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th HB Keith Marshall Georgia Sr 5'10 5/8" 212 lbs. 4.49

Analysis: Back from knee surgery, Keith had a had time getting into the line-up behind RB Nick Cubb. Played on special teams worked hard did not cry about playing time. Another very intelligent prospect.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th HB Travis Greene Bowling Green St. rSr 5'10 5/8" 188 lbs. 4.56

Analysis: Coach Belichick often doubles-up on drafting a position and I think he does with Greene. A quality prospect from a smaller program.
