Show/Hide All Player Comments Round (Overall) Pos Name College Cls Height Weight 40
Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (30th) WILB Eric Kendricks UCLA rSr 6'0 1/8" 228 lbs. 4.67

Analysis: Packers are in desperate need for a new starter at inside linebacker after dumping Brad Jones Who Sucks at Football and AJ Hawk and letting Jamari Lattimore go in free agency. Kendricks dropping down to 30 would have Ted Thompson showing some emotion in the Green Bay war room and would snatch him up in a second. Kendricks is that sideline to sideline linebacker the Packers have been missing for years and would start up right away next to Sam Barrington.

Show/Hide Player Comments 2nd (30th) TE Maxx Williams Minnesota rSo 6'3 3/4" 254 lbs. 4.87

Analysis: Williams is another guy TT would pick up in an instant as he fell all the way to 30 in the 2nd round in the On the Clock feature. Green Bay needs corner help but when the top tight end in the draft falls all the way to you need suddenly takes a backseat to the best player available. With Williams in the Green Bay offense Aaron Rodgers could ride his way to a 3rd MVP next season. Defenses would have headaches trying to defend Nelson, Cobb and Adams, worry about Eddie Lacy in the backfield and then have Williams running up the middle. A dream pick here.

Show/Hide Player Comments 3rd (30th) CB Senquez Golson Mississippi Sr 5'9" 180 lbs. 4.43

Analysis: Golson has the ball skills and instincts Dom Capers loves to have in his corners and is a terrific zone corner which the Packers use often. He may have to spend his rookie year in the slot as many will see his height as a weakness but he has the potential to be a pro bowler.

Show/Hide Player Comments 4th (30th) HB Tevin Coleman Indiana Jr 6'0 1/8" 205 lbs. 4.62

Analysis: James Starks is a free agent next year and depth is needed behind Eddie Lacy so the Packers grab Coleman here who had a terrific start to the season last year at Indiana until he got injured. He's a violent runner like Lacy and would be a terrific change of pace back. A luxury pick right here for Green Bay.

Show/Hide Player Comments 5th (30th) WR Chris Conley Georgia Sr 6'1 7/8" 213 lbs. 4.35

Analysis: Chris Conley blew up the combine with his insane numbers. Green Bay is in desperate need of a kick returner and with a 4.33 forty time he has the speed to get down the field quick and could develop into a dangerous slot receiver or receiver out of the backfield. A freak athlete who seems to be scratching the surface of his potential. Aaron Rodgers has a big grin on his face when this pick comes in.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th QB Sean Mannion Oregon St. rSr 6'4 1/4" 215 lbs. 4.94

Analysis: Packers have let Matt Flynn walk and are developing Scott Tolzein but drafting and developing a QB needs to be a must for Green Bay. Mannion is a work in progress but could develop into a reliable back up QB which is what the Packers want out of him.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th UT James Castleman Oklahoma St. Sr 6'1 3/4" 296 lbs. 5.04

Analysis: Packers add more depth to the defensive line with Castleman who can also play NT or 3-4 DE. The depth is needed if Khyri Thorton doesn't improve as he was moments away from being cut despite being a 3rd round pick until he was put on IR. Castleman could provide competition and if he plays would be solid against the run and can be cycled out for passing downs.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th (30th) NT Leterrius Walton Central Michigan rSr 6'4 5/8" 323 lbs. 5.19

Analysis: Green Bay resigned both BJ Raji and Letroy Guion but both are on 1 year deals so they need to find reinforcements for the nose tackle spot quick. Walton can be used as a nose tackle or a 3-4 DE and would be excellent against the run. He could give Datone Jones a run to improve or lose his job. A versatile piece added to the Green Bay defensive line.

Show/Hide Player Comments 7th (30th) OT Darrian Miller Kentucky Sr 6'4 3/4" 292 lbs. 5.17

Analysis: Packers could use depth on the offensive line. Miller would most likely kick inside to guard and learn under Sitton and Lang and possibly replace Lang when his and Sitton's contracts come up in 2016, most likely with Sitton behing renewed.
