Show/Hide All Player Comments Round (Overall) Pos Name College Cls Height Weight 40
Show/Hide Player Comments 1st (12th) MLB Luke Kuechly Boston College Jr 6'2 1/2" 242 lbs. 4.58

Analysis: BPA. Kuechly gives the Seahawks a cornerstone and leader on defense to build around. We hope we get Superman and not Clark Kent!

Show/Hide Player Comments 2nd (11th) 34OLB Andre Branch Clemson rSr 6'4 1/4" 259 lbs. 4.70

Analysis: Clemons isnt getting any younger and Bryant offers nothing on passing downs. Branch offers immediate pass rush help and versatility along the line. One of my favorite pass rushers in this draft.

Show/Hide Player Comments 3rd (12th) MLB Mychal Kendricks California Sr 5'11 1/4" 240 lbs. 4.47

Analysis: Could go higher but have seen available here in some mocks. BPA for us. Offers more versatility to Seahawks d and bolsters a unit weakened by FA.

Show/Hide Player Comments 4th (11th) 43DE Malik Jackson Tennessee Sr 6'4 5/8" 284 lbs. 4.91

Analysis: Going to a Carroll connection here. Former player was too good to pass up at this point in the draft. Also adds scheme versatility.

Show/Hide Player Comments 6th (11th) QB Russell Wilson Wisconsin rSr 5'10 7/8" 204 lbs. 4.55

Analysis: Assuming height causes him to slide down draft boards in the draft, we decide to pull the trigger on a QB with more talent than this draft slot usually indicates. We know coach Carroll values other traits in a QB more than their height and we feel Wilson has those other intangible qualities in spades.

Show/Hide Player Comments 7th (18th) HB Tauren Poole Tennessee Sr 5'9 5/8" 206 lbs. 4.54

Analysis: Runs with good vision and power. Fits the scheme. Gives us some depth heading into TC.

That would be a killer draft. Being a Ram fan, I would hate having to see all of those guys in the division for the next so many years!
